The new Xbox 360 console and Xbox 360 video games are the latest offering from Microsoft's foray into the gaming world. The Xbox 360 console has ignited a new era of digital entertainment.

Microsoft's intention is to deliver an experience "that is always connected, always personalized, and always in high definition" 2. So the future of gaming is certainly looking very bright indeed. Especially as the console includes three-core IBM PowerPC processors, clocked at 3.2GHz handling six threads simultaneously as well as a 500Mhz ATI graphics chip with 10Mb of memory.

The fusion of powerful hardware, great added features and the latest software means the Xbox 360 is more powerful than most modern PCs. Add to that the slick aesthetics of the curving design, which hollows in the middle, and that the Xbox 360 has changeable panels for a customized look and feel.
